forest walks

There's a park, it's more like a forest, by our place. Travis loves to go there. When we walk on the trails Travis gets mad if he's not in the front. He makes us follow him and he thinks he's incharge. Joe taught Travis how to turn the faucet on and the drink from it.

Toy Tyler

Lately Travis thinks that Tyler is just another one of his toys. He likes to pick him up and put him in buckets, trucks, baskets, anything that he can move him around in.

library books

Travis always has cars, trucks, motorcycles, anything with wheels on his mind. Joe and I have been taking him to the library to get him interested in books. I walked into the living room this morning to find that he had made a track out of the books for his trucks. I'm glad to see that we've developed that interest.

Tyler 3 months

Tyler just went to the Doctor to get some over due shots and to weigh in. He is nothing like his older brother was. Tyler screamed when he got his shots and screamed for the next couple of days after too. He is average in size weighing 14 pounds and is 24 inches long. At this age Travis was 18 pounds and 28 inches long and sreamed all the time no matter what.

the move

As many of you know we have just moved to Port Orchard, WA. We left Rexburg on friday (11-30) and planned to be in our new apartment on saturday...that didn't happen. After following Joe and Travis in the U-haul through some really bad snow storms we finally got here on sunday around 9pm. We drove into Port Orchard and soon realized that the power in the town had gone out. After finally finding our new apartment we went to open the door, that the manager said would be open for us, and it was locked. Since the power was out in Port Orchard we had to find our way to the next town to find the third hotel that we had stayed in during our trip. The next morning we all got up at 5am to drop joe off at work. After dropping him off and then going back to check out of the hotel we barely made it back into town before they close down the roads because of flooding. When Travis, Tyler and I went to go get a key to our apartment the manager told us that there are two apartments with the same number and ours is the one at the bottom of the hill.

We had just got into our apartment and Travis decided that he needed to do something naughty (I can't remember what) so he was out in time out.

After coming home from work that Monday Joe started to unload the U-haul by himself. (He thought everyone in our ward would be busy because of all the flooding) It took me a few weeks to unpack everything. The next time we move we're selling all our stuff.
