gobble, gobble

For Thanksgiving we went over to Grandma Meg's house. The cousins from Montana were there too so I thought I'd make a turkey pinata. I think that I had more fun making it then the kids did hitting it. I think it will be a Thanksgiving tradition for us from now on.

Hehehe that is hilarious. You are a courageous mom giving your kids a bat and telling them to hit something.

That is a cute pinata! I was just thinking about you guys today when Gracee and I were putting an ornament on our advent calendar:) It sounds like you have been sewing...have you made any quilts lately? I wish you lived closer so we could hang out and sew! Maybe Travis could toughen Gracee up a little! She is the one in Nursery that is scolding the disobedient children and guiding the play circles. I can't wait for January for her to go into Sunbeams and my release from nursery leader:)!

I don't know yet if I am going to watch the movie. I might wait until it comes out on video. I have decided that every movie will be worst than the book. I just don't know how graphic some parts of the book will be. It seems like movie producers will take a scene and make it as explicit as they can. I don't know though. Did you watch it? I do like Queen Latifah so I might watch just because she is in it.
