Travis is just about ready for a booster car seat. It's almost perfect timing because Tyler is just about ready to be out of the infant seat so they can switch. I always like to get the best deal for my money...Joe's money, so I need some opinions. I've looked at three different boosters, Graco, Evenflo and Compass. I'm leaning more towards the Graco Turbo booster because it can convert into just a booster, with out the back, when he's four. What do you have (if you have one), how have you like it, and where did you purchase it at?

We bought one from Wal-Mart, similar to what you have picture..Graco? Evenflo? Not sure, but it works for Livi. Although, when we first switched her over, she had a hard time wanting to keep the buckle around her correctly. It was scary some of the time actually...There are some other car seats out there that are big enough for them to grow into, but still buckle in the front. You might want to look into those also, if you are worried that Travis will manuever around the belt. All-in-all, we have been happy with it and it's not very heavy...
We bought one like in the picture because it was cheap. Plus I like that it is a regular buckle. She can unbuckle herself and get out of the car on her own...I love it. I am trying to get her to learn to buckle herself before the baby comes. She is four but we still have the back on. The back helps the seatbelt to not cut across her all funny. We really like ours. It is light and easy to transfer to other cars.
We bought the Graco one also and I love it. Hailey thinks it is really comfy and she can get in and out herself which is a huge plus when you have three kids to get in and out of the car. I think we got it at Walmart ... where else!
We have a graco car seat too. I love it. Josh has one that is like a bucket seat. It has straps and then when then get bigger you can take the straps off and use the regular seat belt. We bought ours at either Wal-Mart or Target.
We're looking into a new seat for Eric right now too. That is the same one I've been looking at, I'm just a little hesatant because it doesn't have a harness on it. I can't remember for sure, but I think until they're 4 they're supposed to have one. Do you know if I'm wrong? The converting into a backless booster is a big seller for me also.
Well Eric is 30 pounds, but his car seat is up to 100 pounds. We have to get a new one because Isaac has grown out of his infant seat. I just don't want to buy another one when it's time to take the back off his booster seat. He's always going to be light, I think. Will Travis unbuckle the seat belt? He's 40 pounds? Wow.
Ours is an Evenflo Big Kid Booster from WalMart. We just got it last week. The back is removable for it too. Adam likes it alright, mostly because he's ridden in it in the truck and he likes the truck. (Thank you!) It says 30 to 100 lbs, ages 3 and up.
This is Britty....Anyways. I personally felt the graco one was very comfortable. Cup holder is a must!
